Your account
Give accurate details, keep your login safe, and tell us if someone else gets in. On a team plan, the owner is responsible for the people they invite. Each seat is for one person.
Your agents, your responsibility
You decide what your agents do and which tools they can reach. Approvals and undo help you catch mistakes, but you are responsible for the actions you approve and for the accounts you connect. When you use Anthropic, OpenAI, GitHub, Stripe or any other provider through moatbox, their terms apply too, and they bill you for your own keys directly.
Fair use
Do not use moatbox to:
- break the law or host illegal content
- attack, scan or overload systems you do not own
- send spam or host malware
- mine cryptocurrency
- get around plan limits, or resell raw compute
We may pause a box that puts other customers or the service at risk, and we will tell you why.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, at the prices on our pricing page, plus VAT where it applies. Hours beyond your plan cost €0.08 per space-hour, up to the spending cap you set, which is on by default. Upgrades start right away; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period. You can cancel at any time.
If you are a consumer in the EU
You have 14 days from signing up to withdraw. If you ask us to start the service straight away, you pay only for what you used before you withdrew. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumer law gives you.
Your data
What you put in your boxes stays yours. You give us only the rights we need to run the service for you. You can ask us for an export of your data at any time, and we delete it 30 days after you close your account. Undo is not a backup: keep your own copies of anything you cannot lose.
Availability
We work to keep moatbox running, but outside an Enterprise agreement we do not promise a level of uptime. We may change or retire features, and we will give you notice before we remove something you pay for.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data. This does not limit liability for gross negligence, intent, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time. We may end it for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, with notice unless the breach is urgent.
Law and disputes
Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the law where you live and can go to your local court. If you use moatbox for business, the courts where we are based decide disputes.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you at least 30 days before. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
